Description: Ratatat is a primarily instrumental duo composed of laptop geeks Mike Shroud and Evan Mast. The group's three albums demonstrate an evolution of carefully selected bleeps and bloops, scathing-hot guitar licks, percussion loops and thumping beats. In addition to performing as Ratatat, the duo has released two albums of rap remixes and collaborated with Lawrence's own White Flight for his upcoming release "White Ark." With enough live instrumentation to prevent its performances from sounding stiff, Ratatat rocks a dance party with bug-eyed aplomb.
